2. Service Description
Express Taxes is a software platform that provides tax preparation tools, connects users with licensed credit repair partners, facilitates business formation through registered agents, and connects users with licensed lending partners for refund advances.
3. Tax Preparation Services
- Express Taxes is NOT a CPA, Enrolled Agent, or attorney
- Our software provides calculations and form generation for informational purposes only
- We do not provide legal or professional tax advice
- You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide
- We recommend consulting a licensed tax professional for complex situations
4. Credit Repair Services
- Credit repair services are provided by licensed third-party partners, not Express Taxes directly
- Partners comply with the Credit Repair Organizations Act (CROA)
- You have a 3-day right to cancel per CROA regulations
- We cannot guarantee specific credit score improvements or timelines
- Results vary based on individual circumstances
5. Refund Advance Loans
- Refund advances are provided by licensed banking partners, not Express Taxes
- All loans are subject to underwriting approval
- You are responsible for repayment if IRS refund is less than expected or denied
- Interest rates and fees are disclosed before acceptance
- Not available in all states
6. Business Formation Services
- We file formation paperwork through partnerships with registered agents
- We do NOT provide legal advice regarding business structure or operations
- Consult a licensed attorney for legal questions
- State filing fees are separate from our service fees
7. Limitation of Liability
Express Taxes is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services. We do not guarantee specific outcomes including tax refund amounts, credit score improvements, loan approvals, or business success.
8. User Responsibilities
- Provide accurate and complete information
- Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
- Review all documents and forms before submission
9. Payment Terms
- Fees are charged as disclosed on our pricing pages
- Payment is required before final submission of tax returns
- Subscription services renew automatically unless canceled
- Refunds are provided only as outlined in our refund policy
10. Intellectual Property
All content, trademarks, and software on Express Taxes are the property of Express Taxes or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content without permission.
11. Privacy
Your use of Express Taxes is subject to our Privacy Policy. We comply with IRS Publication 4557 for safeguarding taxpayer data.
12. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account at any time for violation of these terms or for any other reason at our discretion.
